Large and beautifully executed XL sculpture made of lacquered zinc alloy. The female figure and titled "Le Commerce". Made by the French artist Jean-Baptiste Germain (1841-1910). At the front of the sculpture there is a copper plate with the title. The sculpture has a lovely bronze-toned patina. A stunning statue depicting an elegant woman who holds a laurel wreath aloft. The statue is meticulously finished and stands on a solid wooden plinth, with a classical style that suits luxurious interiors.

The subject—the woman in the hand—appears to be broken. See last photo.
