Breitling - Chronomat - 81950 - Men - 1980-1989

Beautiful Breitling Chronomat ref. 81950, automatic chronograph belonging to the first generation of the modern Chronomat, a model introduced in the 1980s and today particularly interesting among Breitling neo-vintage pieces.
From the references it should be 1985-1987, therefore one of the early Chronomats of the Breitling revival.

Very elegant configuration with a light dial, three chronograph counters, date at 3 o'clock and tachymeter scale. Stainless steel case with distinctive gold-toned details on the crown, pushers and rider tabs of the bezel.

Automatic chronograph movement Valjoux 7750, one of the most well-known and reliable calibers of the era.

Reference 81950 engraved on the case back.

Case diameter about 39 mm, excluding crown.

The watch is accompanied by a brown leather strap. It shows normal signs of wear and a pleasant patina consistent with its age, well documented in the photographs, which are an integral part of the description.
I include a generic leather watch box.
