Description from the seller
The Distance Between Us
I turn slowly, barefoot on crumbling earth, my teal dress pooling around me like a held breath. Somewhere behind me, a pale figure stands motionless on a flooded plain, his dark reflection perfectly still beneath him. I do not go closer. A great black medallion hangs suspended above us both, its surface carved with forgotten symbols. The landscape fractures - warm ochres and burnt oranges dissolving into pale silence. Loose, luminous brushwork carries the weight of everything unsaid, colours bleeding at every edge where the world refuses to hold its shape.

About the Artist
Enigma is an Italian surrealist working across dream, disruption, and wit - never settling into one mood or one way of seeing. Some paintings are quiet and symbolic, others catch a moment coming apart mid-motion, others turn a playful, knowing eye on art history itself. What unites the work isn't a single style but a single instinct: reality treated as something soft enough to bend, fracture, or reimagine - rendered always in smooth, luminous brushwork and bold, contrasting color. Every canvas is one of a kind, never repeated.
