Description from the seller
No Service in Arcadia
I was promised a Madonna and received a woman with a phone. Piero would need smelling salts. She stands in perfect Renaissance profile, red silk trailing like a long sermon, a crimson tree held aloft as her parasol, while a scrap of Eden floats off the wall beside her. Cypresses, birds, a hole in the floor. She has paradise in view and a device in hand, and, deliciously, seems to be choosing paradise. Et in Arcadia ego, offline.

About the Artist
Enigma is an Italian surrealist working across dream, disruption, and wit - never settling into one mood or one way of seeing. Some paintings are quiet and symbolic, others catch a moment coming apart mid-motion, others turn a playful, knowing eye on art history itself. What unites the work isn't a single style but a single instinct: reality treated as something soft enough to bend, fracture, or reimagine - rendered always in smooth, luminous brushwork and bold, contrasting color. Every canvas is one of a kind, never repeated.
