Decorative tray - Pine motif - Japan - Embossed Brass

Mid 20th century Japanese decorative brass embossed, round footed tray/bowl/plate.

Dimensions: 30cm*7cm*30cm

Made of brass or bronze (copper alloy). The upper surface is decorated in relief (repoussé technique). The background is entirely covered with a fine radial / fan or pine-needle style texture.

Raised branches (pine-like plant motifs) and central stylized raised elements are present. Concentric lined rim.

The underside is black painted / lacquered in appearance, with a central recessed foot (pedestal base).
