Estimated period: 20th century.
Material: alpaca, also known as German silver or maillechort in France; base stamped “ALPACA”.
Dimensions: total height 27 cm; rim diameter 18.3 cm; base diameter 14.3 cm.
Maker/marks: base bears the “ALPACA” stamp.
Condition: good condition, with signs of wear, damage and patina consistent with age and the photographs.
Included elements/accessories: four large cabochons, approx. 30 mm x 15 mm; bottle shown in the photo is for reference only and not part of the sale.
Certified shipping with tracking number and/or insurance.
Ornamentation with plant motifs, scrolls, oval cartouches, hand-chasing, repoussé work and hammered background.
