From above, a rain of apricot, peach, and copper colored leaves falls, a dense and warm weave that seems to hold back the last light of the day. As it descends, the tones become more intense, full orange and golden ochre, until the leaves begin to veil themselves in lavender and lilac. Down below the color gathers into a deep, velvety indigo, where the final vegetal traces emerge barely, as in translucence. The vertical format accompanies the gaze in this slow descent, from warm to cool. The surface, built up in layered, granular matter, vibrates with every shift of light. A soft and luminous work, like the moment in which the sunset dissolves into the evening.
