AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Spectacular and large mouth-blown satin glass art vase. It presents the iconic organic form known as the "Jack-in-the-pulpit" (inspired by the Arisaema flower) with a magistrally stretched and hot-rolled neck.

The coloration work is remarkable: a robe of deep black satin, traversed by dynamic splashes of vivid red and orange reminiscent of lava flows ("Volcano Red"). The interior of the neck reveals a beautiful two-tone contrast.

A high-decoration object, very graphic, finding its place in a modern, eclectic, or Hollywood Regency interior.

Era: Circa 1960 - 1980
Condition: Perfect condition. No chips, cracks or restorations.
The pontil is ground smooth under the base, a sign of careful handmade artisanal work (see photos).

Maximum base diameter: about 15 cm
Weight: 2.1 kg (2100 g)
