DAY AND NIGHT, belonging to the series DOMESTIC SCENES, presents the interior of the home as a transitional space between two moments of the day. The composition gathers recognizable elements —a lamp, a vase with branches, an open window toward the landscape and different architectural structures— with geometric planes and color surfaces that fragment the space. The presence of the window, with its landscape, the sun and the dark band speckled with tiny white dots, introduces a suggestion of day and night, while the greens, whites, blacks and terracotta tones build a serene and warm atmosphere.

The work transforms a daily scene into a silent, contemplative composition, where interior and exterior seem to coexist in the same space. The curved forms of the windows and the landscape contrast with the vertical and horizontal lines that organize the architecture, creating a balance between the organic and the structured. In DAY AND NIGHT, domestic objects cease to be mere functional elements to become fragments of an intimate experience: the changing light, the passage of time and those moments of pause that take place inside the home.

The DOMESTIC SCENES series explores the intimacy of everyday spaces through compositions that combine recognizable home elements with geometric shapes, color planes, and different pictorial textures.

Domestic objects and corners appear simplified and rearranged within contemporary compositions, where tables, lamps, vases, furniture and other everyday elements acquire a new visual dimension. The domestic scene ceases to be a literal representation and becomes a space built through color, form, and balance.

The series is especially concerned with those moments of pause that occur inside the home. Light, objects and the different surfaces create silent atmospheres in which the everyday takes on an intimate and contemplative character.

Geometric language coexists with small organic gestures and figurative details, generating a balance between structure and spontaneity. Overlaid planes, curved shapes and lines build spaces that seem recognizable and, at the same time, partly imagined.
DOMESTIC SCENES thus offers a view of the home as a space of calm, memory and contemplation, where everyday objects become compositional elements and daily life becomes painting material.

Each work is hand-signed on the back of the canvas, keeping the painted surface clean and not altering its visual composition. The signature includes the title of the work and the series, the year and month of creation, dimensions, technique, and the name and signature of TRACY CANO GARCÍA.
The work is delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) attesting to its authorship and guaranteeing its authenticity.

NOTES ABOUT THE IMAGES
The photographs have been taken with the aim of representing the work as faithfully as possible. However, small differences in color, contrast or tone may be observed compared to the original, due to lighting conditions during the shoot as well as the configuration and characteristics of each screen. These variations do not affect the actual appearance of the work.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
The work will be carefully shipped rolled in a tube, guaranteeing adequate protection during transport. This method also helps reduce packaging volume and facilitate safer and more efficient shipping. The tube has been reused from a local textile shop, contributing to a more sustainable packaging solution. The canvas includes an extra margin of approximately 5 cm on each side, intended to facilitate later mounting or stretching onto a frame. This operation can be performed by the buyer or by a specialized professional.
