AURORA BOREALIS, belonging to the series FRAGMENTOS DE INVIERNO, offers an abstract interpretation of the aurora borealis through the overlapping of shapes, planes and textures. The large fields of turquoise blue and deep blue evoke the night sky and the cold northern atmosphere, while areas of white, powder pink and gray-green suggest the changing movement of the lights in the sky. The curved and undulating forms traverse the composition like streams of light, contrasting with more rigid geometric structures that fragment the landscape and generate different levels of depth.

The work does not aim to represent the aurora borealis literally, but to convey its sensation of movement, mystery and transformation. The contrasts between dark and luminous surfaces recall the phenomenon of lights appearing and fading over the winter landscape, while the painted textures add an atmospheric and almost tactile dimension. In this dialogue between geometry and organic shapes, AURORA BOREALIS turns the landscape into a fragmented and evocative experience, where winter, light and memory meet in a space suspended between the real and the imagined.

The FRAGMENTOS DE INVIERNO series explores the landscape from a contemporary perspective, combining geometric structures, color planes and references to the natural environment to build fragmented and atmospheric spaces. The works stem from the relationship between nature and structure, between the recognizable and the abstract, proposing a view of the landscape filtered by the particular atmosphere of the winter season.

Throughout the series, geometric shapes coexist with elements inspired by the winter landscape, such as branches, organic strokes and small forms that appear and disperse among the different planes. These elements evoke vegetation at rest, exposed branches and the quietness characteristic of this time of year. The landscape is not presented as a complete image nor as a literal representation, but as a visual construction formed by fragments, impressions and memories.

Color plays a fundamental role in the series. Deep blue, blue-gray, off-white, powder pink and black build a cool, restrained palette, inspired by the light and atmosphere typical of winter. The contrasts between dark surfaces and light zones create depth and rhythm, while the different color areas relate to one another, creating a sense of continuity and balance.

Each work is hand-signed on the back of the canvas, keeping the painted surface clean and without altering its visual composition. The signature includes the title of the work and the series, the year and month of realization, dimensions, technique and the name and signature of TRACY CANO GARCÍA.
The work is delivered with an Authenticity Certificate (COA) that certifies authorship and guarantees authenticity.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
The work will be carefully shipped rolled in a tube, ensuring adequate protection during transport. This method also helps reduce packaging volume and facilitate safer and more efficient shipping. The tube has been repurposed from a local textile store, contributing to a more sustainable packaging solution. The canvas includes an additional margin of approximately 5 cm on each side, intended to facilitate later mounting or re-stretching on a frame. This operation may be performed by the buyer or by a professional specialist.
