THE FIRST ENCOUNTER is a work from the series DOMESTIC SCENES that presents an intimate and everyday moment inside the home, where a human figure shares the space with a dog and a cat. The scene is built through a geometric composition of planes and architectural structures, in which windows, arches, lamps, and small decorative objects organize the space. The presence of plants and circular shapes adds an organic counterpoint to the geometry of the composition, while the palette of whites, soft greens, terracottas, blacks, and grays creates a serene, warm, and quiet atmosphere.

The seated figure, accompanied by the two animals, introduces a narrative and emotional dimension within this carefully constructed space. More than representing a concrete action, the work captures a moment of pause and coexistence, in which the home becomes a stage for bonds and small daily rituals. The DOMESTIC SCENES series explores the intimacy of everyday spaces through compositions that combine recognizable home elements with geometric forms, color planes, and different painterly textures.

Objects and domestic corners appear simplified and reorganized within contemporary compositions, where tables, lamps, vases, furniture, and other everyday elements acquire a new visual dimension. The domestic scene ceases to be a literal representation to become a space built through color, form, and balance.

The series is particularly interested in those moments of pause that occur inside the home. Light, objects, and the different surfaces create silent atmospheres in which the everyday acquires an intimate and contemplative character.

Geometric language coexists with small organic gestures and figurative details, generating a balance between structure and spontaneity. Overlapping planes, curved shapes, and lines build spaces that feel recognizable and, at the same time, partially imagined.
DOMESTIC SCENES thus offers a view of the home as a space of calm, memory, and contemplation, where everyday objects become compositional elements and daily life becomes painting material.

This operation may be performed by the purchaser or by a specialized professional.
