THE VISITOR is part of the series DOMESTIC SCENES, in which everyday space is transformed through a combination of geometric shapes, color planes, and figurative elements. The composition presents an interior built from layered surfaces in earth tones, yellows, grays, and whites, where curved and organic forms dialogue with more defined structures. A plant with large leaves occupies part of the scene and provides a natural element that introduces verticality, movement, and contrast against the stillness of the space. In the center, a small bird becomes the protagonist and establishes a link between nature and the domestic environment.

The work thus proposes an intimate and silent scene, more suggested than literally depicted. The bird, perched on a surface that recalls a table or piece of furniture, functions as that unexpected visitor who breaks into the calm of the home, while the plant reinforces the presence of the organic within the interior space. The painterly textures, the transparencies, and the combination of soft forms with precise lines create an atmosphere of pause and contemplation, where everyday objects and natural elements are transformed into compositional resources charged with sensitivity.

The DOMESTIC SCENES series explores the intimacy of everyday spaces through compositions that combine recognizable home elements with geometric shapes, color planes, and different painterly textures.

Domestic objects and corners appear simplified and reorganized within contemporary compositions, where tables, lamps, vases, furniture, and other everyday elements acquire a new visual dimension. The domestic scene ceases to be a literal representation and becomes a space constructed through color, form, and balance.

The series is especially concerned with those moments of pause that occur inside the home. Light, objects, and the different surfaces create silent atmospheres in which everyday life takes on an intimate and contemplative character.

Geometric language coexists with small organic gestures and figurative details, generating a balance between structure and spontaneity. Overlaid planes, curved forms, and lines build spaces that appear recognizable and, at the same time, partially imagined.

DOMESTIC SCENES thus offers a view of the home as a space of calm, memory, and contemplation, where everyday objects transform into compositional elements and daily life becomes pictorial matter.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
The work will be carefully shipped rolled in a tube, ensuring adequate protection during transport. This method also helps reduce packaging volume and enables safer and more efficient shipping. The tube has been reused from a local textile shop, contributing to a more sustainable packaging solution. The canvas has an additional margin of approximately 5 cm on each side to facilitate later mounting or stretching on a frame. This operation may be carried out by the buyer or by a specialized professional.
