Rare training document from the SA Group North Sea regarding the Mauser Gewehr 98, a German infantry rifle that was produced by a number of German factories from 1898 to 1945. The letter provides a complete report concerning the rifle.
The SA Group North Sea was a regional, territorial division of the Sturmabteilung (SA), the paramilitary wing of the NSDAP, at the end of 1944. The headquarters of this specific unit were located in Bremen (at Hollerallee 75) and the command area included, among others, Bremen, Oldenburg, and the western part of the Prussian Province of Hanover.
