Brush and Shoehorn set - Pet accessory

Beautiful vintage six-piece riding-boot care and clothing brush set with elegant horse heads. Produced in the mid-20th century (originating from Hong Kong).

The set is made of plastic (often celluloid or Bakelite-like plastic) with a detailed imitation of carved wood or horn. The set consists of the following parts:
Wall plaque: A hanging board in the shape of a horse head, equipped with hooks to hang the accessories on.
Shoehorn: The long, smooth black accessory with a horse head grip, designed to slide smoothly into shoes or boots.
Clothing or shoe brushes: The two remaining items with black bristles, intended to brush jackets, hats, or riding boots clean.
Such sets were especially popular decorative gift items for the hall or cloakroom in the 1960s and 1970s. A beautiful collectable for horse-racing enthusiasts.
