About the artist:
“This Icelandic road is a memory.
It’s the one I used to travel when I was younger, when I wanted to go fast, see far, become someone.
Today, through this series, I understand that at 70 — like the man I place in my works — one does not age… one becomes more precise.
Every age has its strength, every age has its truth.
I realized that what mattered wasn’t youth, but alignment with oneself.
This road, it’s mine.
It’s the road of all those who move forward, slowly, but surely, toward their own vision.”
