Boris - Navigazione Generale Italiana - 1970s

A splendid and rare vintage advertising poster dedicated to the famous twin motor ships Orazio and Virgilio of the historic company Navigazione Generale Italiana (N.G.I.). Signed by "Boris" (a well-known illustrator of the era for Italian maritime posters). The poster depicts the imposing dark bow of one of the two ocean liners as it majestically cuts through the sea, set against a very evocative ochre-yellow background. In the upper right corner is a pre-printed table with the details and the expected days of travel for the ocean routes.
