Beautiful electric clock, hidden between two books in a metal housing and covered with leather. The books open in the middle and reveal the classic dial with Roman numerals. The movement is by ATO France and runs on a 1.5-volt battery from around 1960. The books are gilded in gold with Molière comédies and Molière théâtre and floral ornamentation, at the front a gold emblem with three lilies.
