Vintage Christian Dior Monsieur cufflinks with mottled blue inlays, raised Dior monograms, original branded tag and presentation box.

Christian Dior Monsieur was introduced around the turn of the 1970s as the fashion house’s first dedicated menswear line. In addition to ready-to-wear clothing, it offered a wide range of gentleman’s accessories distinguished by elegant materials, classic shapes and recognisable Dior emblems. The line remained part of the house until it was succeeded by Dior Homme in 2001.

These vintage Christian Dior Monsieur cufflinks feature an elegant oval design with richly mottled blue stone-effect inlays. Each face is decorated with a raised gold-tone Dior monogram and surrounded by a stepped, polished border. The deep blue colouring varies naturally across the two inlays, giving each cufflink a subtly individual appearance.

The cufflinks retain their original Christian Dior Monsieur presentation box and branded tag, making the set particularly appealing to collectors of vintage designer accessories.

Condition:

The cufflinks are in good vintage condition, with visible signs of age and previous use.

The blue inlays remain attractive, retaining their rich colour and distinctive mottled appearance. Fine surface scratches, small marks and light abrasions are visible under close inspection. The raised Dior monograms remain complete and clearly defined.

The gold-tone frames display surface scratches, minor discolouration and areas of finish wear, particularly around the stepped borders. Additional wear, tarnishing and small darkened areas are present on the fixed bars and pivoting toggles. These signs are more noticeable in the concealed fastening components and do not significantly detract from the appearance of the cufflinks when worn.

The original Christian Dior Monsieur tag remains attached. The original presentation box is also included and shows age-related surface marks, dust, discolouration and wear to its fabric-covered exterior and fitted interior.
