Marchesato degli Aleramici's Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is made from vineyards located in Pian delle Vigne, an ancient farmhouse nestled on the gentle slope that slopes from the state-owned forest toward the Ombrone River, in the heart of Montalcino's magical terroir.

It is produced exclusively from Sangiovese grapes. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for approximately 20 days. The wine then ages in oak barrels for 36 months and for a further 4 months in bottle.
It features a deep ruby color with garnet highlights. The nose opens with a broad bouquet, with elegant spicy notes, tobacco, and pleasant aromas of berries and dried flowers. On the palate, it is warm, pleasantly dry, and refined. The wine has a great structure, with excellent aromatic persistence and light tannins.
Perfect with roasts and game, it is ideal with grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
