Oscar Liedel - Remouchamps / La grotte / La merveille des merveilles - 1920s

Original tourist advertising poster (lithographic stone print) from 1926 for the Remouchamps cave complex (Wallonia). The image is an impression of the famous 'Pont des Titans' (Bridge of the Titans) - an impressive natural arch, which can be reached by boat after crossing the underground river the 'Rubicon'. Visitors to the cave have meanwhile enjoyed the 'Cathedral' or cathedral, one of the largest underground halls. The depicted brochure (cover + text) is not part of the lot.
