The artist Hestela Charbonnier develops a painterly research that moves between the floral world and the figurative dimension, creating a continuous dialogue between nature and the human being. Her production ranges from botanically charged compositions with energy and materiality to portraits and figures in which a deep emotional sensitivity emerges.
In the floral paintings, color is the absolute protagonist: dynamic brushstrokes, material stratifications, and luminous contrasts transform the flower into a symbol of vitality, transformation, and fragility. The shapes expand across the canvas with an instinctive yet conscious gesture, giving rise to intense and engaging compositions.
In the figurative works, instead, the artist explores interiority through postures, gazes, and suspended atmospheres. The figures are never simple representations, but become silent narratives, charged with emotion and psychological depth.
A common element to both bodies of work is the attention to matter and to color as primary expressive tools. Whether it’s a flower in full explosion or a figure immersed in thought, each work reflects a tension between energy and delicacy.

This work is created digitally and then acrylic paint, abstract nuances, and paint splashes are added.

Sealed with a glossy varnish.

Each work has additions of brush/ spatula-applied paint and splashes.
Furthermore, some also feature gold leaf and gold dust to make the piece unique in its kind, then it is sealed with a final varnish so that the colors endure over time and the painting appears more homogeneous and bright; it is signed bottom right and countersigned on the back.
