Pierre Andrey is a unique vintner based in the town of Metz, in northern France. Working from a small vineyard pavilion near his home, and collaborating closely with a few organic producers in Alsace, Beaujolais and Jura, he produces some of the most thoughtful, pure and intriguing wines we have ever tasted.

Beyond an incredibly selective intervention in the vineyard, his cellar methods are what some would deem unusual — he vinifies each wine in 50‑liter glass demijohns. To say these are rare would be an understatement; each wine bottled is an individual demi-john, meaning no one else in the world will have the same cuvée as the bottles we have. Each bottling is a limited release of around 66 bottles.

These are wines that are both explorations of terroir and a showcase of expression that can be realized by the Andrey method, of which he is notoriously secret. Truly special, and extremely limited, we could not be happier to share some of these wonderful bottles.
