The Mountain Pass builds a landscape of open fields and mountains crossed by a narrow path that seems to lead toward a pass between them. A place where the landscape seems to offer us a possibility, but showing us that every path at some point demands the decision to travel it. A work that speaks to us about those possibilities that remain intact for a long time, because what never begins, never ends. Two ends and a point to cross that which seems very dangerous and in reality is not.

Antonycs lives in Madrid. Trained in visual arts and art history, he has focused his career on photography and painting. His work is deeply inspired by Californian landscape painting and the American West, as well as European painting from the early twentieth century. These references are reflected in his attentivelook at light and atmosphere, elements that articulate his work.

Paralelly, he has developed an intense role in the logistics and organization of exhibitions in galleries and museums in Spain, Brazil and Italy. His work has been part of numerous group and solo shows, consolidating an artistic practice that blends personal creation and curatorial experience.
