Standing in the Light celebrates the quiet confidence of nature reaching upward. Tall, sculptural flowers rise through a richly layered landscape of turquoise, cobalt and emerald, opening into radiant shades of crimson, coral, amber and luminous gold.
The composition is built around a strong sense of vertical movement. Slender stems guide the eye upward, while oversized blossoms appear almost illuminated against the deeper jewel-toned foliage. Fine linear textures bring delicacy to the petals and leaves, contrasting with the intensity of the saturated colour.
At the centre of the work, golden light seems to filter through the vegetation, transforming the flowers into glowing forms and giving the entire scene a feeling of warmth and vitality.
