Salvador Dali - ** Original Vintage Museum Poster – Gala Portrait– Dalí Theatre-Museum, Figueres

Original vintage poster from the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, Catalonia, dating from the 1970s and featuring Salvador Dalí’s iconic portrait of Gala.

The poster reproduces Retrato de Gala a contraluz (Portrait of Gala in Profile, 1975–1979), an oil painting by Salvador Dalí depicting his wife and muse Gala. The original painting is part of the collection of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid.

An attractive and collectible piece of 20th-century museum ephemera, particularly interesting for collectors of Salvador Dalí, exhibition posters, Spanish art and museum memorabilia.

The poster itself is an original period piece from the 1970s, rather than a modern reproduction. Its association with the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres makes it especially appealing to collectors.

A striking decorative and collectible work related to one of the most recognisable figures of 20th-century Spanish Surrealism.
