Who is the artist
ERIC BRUMETTE is first and foremost the artistic director of his life.
Born in Paris, Sunday, April 7, 1968 at 22:55, he is Aries with Scorpio rising.
He stages them, photographs them, and very quickly exhibits his creations.
His influences sit at the border of pop art and advertising, which isn’t really a coincidence, his father having run an advertising agency in the 80s where he spent a lot of time.
His inspiration is drawn from life, on the street corner, in a book, listening to music, or during his numerous travels.
Another of his “violin d’Ingres”: music, which is part of his DNA and will always have a major place in his life.
His life is a succession of unlikely encounters that have allowed him to live magnificent moments. Sometimes provocative, he likes to disturb, jostle people to make them think. A tip: to hope to run into him, it’s better to be a night owl!
