Beautiful antique Japanese Imari porcelain plate from the 19th century (Meiji period). This export porcelain is richly hand-painted in the classic iron-red, cobalt blue, and gilt tones (Kinrande style). The plate is divided into several panels with refined floral patterns and leaf-shaped ornaments. The back is traditionally decorated with simple underglaze blue branches and shows a characteristic unmarked rough foot ring.
