Description:
This poster was produced for an exhibition devoted to Paul Delvaux’s graphic work at Galerie Östergård. It highlights one of the great masters of Belgian Surrealism.

Delvaux developed a highly recognizable pictorial universe, populated by hieratic female figures, nocturnal scenes, classical architectures and dreamlike landscapes, wrapped in a quiet and mysterious atmosphere. His graphic oeuvre, developed particularly between the 1960s and 1970s, continues this universe with great technical precision and a strong narrative dimension.

Réalisée pour une exposition consacrée à l'œuvre gravé de Paul Delvaux à la Galerie Östergård, cette affiche met en valeur l'un des grands maîtres du surréalisme belge.
