Vincent van Gogh - Original Museum Poster – Head of a Skeleton with a Burning Cigarette – Fondation Vincent van Gogh

Original museum poster from the Fondation Vincent van Gogh Arles, featuring Vincent van Gogh's striking work Head of a Skeleton with a Burning Cigarette (Kop van een skelet met brandende sigaret).

The painting dates from 1886–1887, during Van Gogh's early period, and is currently part of the collection of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

This original poster is particularly appealing as a piece of museum ephemera and 20th/21st-century art-related graphic design, connecting two important places associated with Van Gogh: the Fondation Vincent van Gogh Arles, established in the city where the artist lived and worked, and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

An attractive collectible for enthusiasts of Vincent van Gogh, museum posters, exhibition graphics, Dutch art and the cultural history of Arles. Its strong composition also makes it an excellent decorative piece when framed.
