Description from the seller

Catalan‑style crucifix, in the manner of Modest Morató Ojer (Barcelona, 1909–1993), Spain, mid‑20th century.

The figure of Christ in patinated bronze with inserts of polychrome cloisonné enamels presents a frontal and hieratic composition clearly inspired by Catalan Romanesque sculpture and the medieval revival characteristic of part of Morató's output and his milieu.

A collectible piece, of great charm and character.

Good overall condition. Impressive dimensions, about 41 x 29 cm.

Proper packaging and fast shipping.
