The scene conveys a warm, wild, and quiet natural environment, apart from major populated centers.

The path is the main axis of the composition. It starts with considerable width at the bottom and gradually narrows as it advances toward the center. Its surface is composed of beige, yellow, ochre, brown, and small grayish spots. The irregularities suggest a dry earth trail worn by the passage of people, animals, or small vehicles.
