A painter with an eye for atmosphere

Hans Mijnsbergen (Goes, 1945), who signs his work with ‘Mijnsbergen’, is known for his atmospheric paintings of romantic landscapes, winter scenes, and coastal vistas. Inspired by the Hague School, he captures the Dutch light and landscape with a warm, realistic touch. Birds and animals also form an important theme in his oeuvre, giving his work a recognizable and timeless feel.
