"Materia Viva" is vibrant and contemporary, celebrating the relationship between the human figure, nature, and color. The face appears integrated into a composition of vegetal forms and spontaneous brushstrokes, where greens, blues, pinks, yellows, and reds meet in a dynamic balance.
This work explores the tension between figure and nature, building an identity that dissolves among shapes, gestures, and fields of color. Brief Bio: Since I was small I have felt an inclination toward creation in all its forms. From my earliest crafts to painting, where I found my primary language of expression. Thus I discovered a universe full of possibilities to convey my ideas, concerns, and emotions.
I am especially interested in creating compositions that offer the viewer a point of view with which they can identify. Whether through discomfort, serenity, or contemplation, my intention is to generate a space for reflection and questioning. Pictorially, I am drawn to vibrant colors, strong saturations, and fresh color palettes.
I find a great source of inspiration in observing our social and natural environment. I often like to imagine that I observe the planet from far away; that symbolic distance allows me to rethink reality from another perspective. I also explore the universe of the feminine, addressing its multiple dimensions from a personal, sensitive, and introspective gaze.
