Samovar - Impressive metal samovar

Original Russian samovar, this large decorative boiler with a faucet has withstood the test of time, with a few replacement parts (spout and nut) and a well-functioning tap.

The samovar is original and was used for many years in the Soviet Union; the (usually) black tea itself is prepared in a separate small pot as a concentrate; little water with a lot of tea leaves. By pouring this concentrate into the hot water of the samovar you obtain tea prepared in the Russian way.

A fun fact: When someone in Russia does something superfluous, they say, just as in the Netherlands 'no water to the sea,' but 'one goes with one's own samovar to Tula.'
