KIRAS - "DESIDERO" POPME! RED

“Desidero POPME!” RED is an explosion of desire, a pop gesture that becomes a declaration. The lips, in a velvet red that seems to absorb and return light like precious fabric, emerge from the wall with a soft, sensual, almost tactile presence. The velvet effect creates a deep, vibrant surface that changes with the lighting and makes the work alive, pulsating, magnetic.

The absolute peculiarity of this sculpture lies in its structure: the mouth and the speech bubble “POP me!” are a single piece, a compact body that unites gesture and word, form and message. The balloon is made with mosaic tesserae, a working technique that adds rhythm, texture, and a game of micro-reflections that amplify the energy of the work. Each tile captures light differently, creating a dynamic and surprising effect.

The work is born in bioplastic printed by 3D, a plant-based material chosen for its sustainability and for its ability to transform, through long manual processing, into a perfectly finished surface. The mouth is hand-flocked, applying the velvet effect uniformly, an artisanal process that requires precision, care, and a matter-of-fact sensitivity that is an integral part of the KIRAS language.

The edition is limited to only 10 pieces, a choice that underlines the exclusivity of the work and ensures that each piece is truly followed by the artist in every stage of the process. Whoever purchases it takes home a rare, precious, almost unique object.
