KIRAS - Ice cream - "BITE BY BITE" LIME

This wall-mounted plexiglass artwork NEON LIME with three bite-mark ice cream sculptures is a creation by Italian artist KIRAS, active in the contemporary pop art scene with international exhibitions and sales. A vibrant, luminous, and scenographic design object that blends pop freshness, light plays, and a three-dimensional construction rich in detail.

The frame, entirely made of Neon LIME plexiglass, is built around the sculptures and is not removable: it becomes an integral part of the work, a true architectural lighting element. The fluorescent plexiglass does not require any electrical power: it captures natural light and disseminates it with intense, vibrant, and almost electric reflections, creating a luminous halo that envelops the entire composition. The fluorescent magenta, saturated and bold, amplifies the interior colors and gives the work a dynamic and pulsating presence.

Inside there are three bite-mark ice creams in bioplastic, shaped using 3D technology and finished by hand. The chosen tones – magenta, lime, and fluorescent orange – are designed to dialogue with each other and with the neon frame, creating a harmonious yet explosive chromatic sequence. Each ice pop is equipped with a bioplastic and wooden stick, a detail that adds tactility and coherence with the work’s pop language.

They are not simply three ice creams... they are three personalities:
• one has just been tasted,
• one has been devoured with enthusiasm,
• one has been bitten “in secret.”

The front cover in transparent plexiglass protects the sculptures and enhances their depth, creating a “luminous display window” effect that highlights every detail.

The dimensions of the work are 25 × 25 cm, with a depth of about 4.5 cm, and it is prepared for wall mounting via rear holes.
It is a 100% Made in Italy design object, reinterpreting classic colorful popsicles into contemporary pop icons.

KIRAS exhibits in Italian and international galleries and regularly participates in contemporary art fairs such as ART3F, ArtePadova, ArtParma Fair and others. The work is supplied with a certificate of authenticity and the artist’s branded box.

As it is handmade, minor irregularities are a natural part of the manual process. The work is intended for indoor environments; it is advised to avoid heat sources and to clean with a soft cloth.
