Zacca (2001) - Mickey’s Gold Nuggets - Impasto 3D collection

This sculpture is a true masterpiece. Initially it is printed in PLA on a 3D printer, then it is resin-coated, hand-painted with the expressive impasto technique, and finished with a glossy varnish. The highly textured surface is enriched with golden details with about 500 crystals applied by hand, strategically positioned to evoke the raw look of gold nuggets.

The entire piece is produced by the artist in the artist's studio.

As a member of the exclusive collection “Impasto 3D,” this piece belongs to a limited edition of only 1/10 exemplars worldwide.

Inspired by the iconic figure of Mickey Mouse and titled Mickey’s Gold Nuggets, this sculpture reinterprets a classic symbol of pop culture as a contemporary luxury art piece. The fusion between the striking three-dimensional texture of impasto and the gold-crystal-backed areas brings together nostalgia from the pop universe with an elegant, sophisticated presence. The dynamic contrast between the classic red, black, and white palette and the gold and crystal reflective details creates a visually impressive depth from any angle.
