In the 1950s, every coffee table would boast such an object.
On each of these bowls, figures of animals are depicted in enamel.
The figures are framed by fine copper-colored lines
and then manually colored with enamel paint.
This has a bit of the cloisonné technique about it,
after all it is flatter and less intricate.
