Oil painting on paper pasted to cardboard, depicting a “landscape,” I believe it belongs to his latest “melancholy” period. Signed bottom right Fontanesi (Antonio Fontanesi 1818-1882); signature contemporary to the work, photographed with a Wood lamp. The painting is presented in the original condition in which it was purchased, from a private collector. Measurements: 19 x 12 cm approx. Frame: 27 x 23 x 2.5 cm.
