Qajar era Juz, a hand-written Islamic manuscript of the Qur’an, 18 pages, 22 × 15 cm, in Arabic as the original language, with gold illumination on the first page and page borders and preserved with its original copper cover.

Rare Islamic manuscript – Juz’ (part) of the Qur’an, Qajar or Ottoman era
Dated 1305 (1850–60). This part of the Qur’an was entirely handwritten by a master calligrapher of his time.
The first folio as well as the borders and ornaments of each page are gilded with gold, testifying to the precious and prestigious nature of this manuscript.
The quality of the calligraphy and decoration suggests a manuscript made for a person of high rank, possibly intended for royal or princely use.
The manuscript is kept with its original copper cover, a particularly remarkable and rare element.
An exceptional piece for collectors of Islamic manuscripts, Persian and Ottoman calligraphy, and Qajar art.
