Offered is an elegant and superbly preserved Omega Genève Automatic, reference 166.9163, manufactured in solid 14-karat yellow gold. Based on the serial number, this watch dates from 1971 and is powered by the reliable and beloved Omega Caliber 1012 automatic movement. This reference belongs to the solid gold Genève models from the 1970s and is distinguished by its classic proportions, high-quality finishing, and timeless appearance.

The solid 14-karat gold case contains about 17 grams of gold and is in excellent condition. The original sharp case lines and chamfered edges are nicely preserved and the case shows only minimal signs of use. The screwed case back bears the reference number, the 14K/0.585 gold hallmark, and the Omega Fab. Suisse mark on the inside. Total weight 42 grams.

The Omega Caliber 1012 automatic movement has been recently fully serviced (October 10, 2024). The movement is clean, runs strongly, keeps accurate time, and the quickset date function operates correctly.

The original silver-toned sunburst dial is in exceptionally beautiful, unrestored condition. The applied gold hour markers, original gold hands, and original Omega crown have been superbly preserved. The clear acrylic crystal provides the characteristic warm look that vintage Omega enthusiasts value.

The watch is worn but in very good condition, appropriate for a carefully maintained vintage timepiece of over fifty years. The case, dial, hands, and movement are in excellent condition.
