Set of four 24 cm porcelain plates by Richard Ginori, decorated with mythological and allegorical scenes and a wavy gold border, dating to circa 1896–1910 and featuring a red circular back stamp, in good used condition with minor signs of age.
Description from the seller
Set of four collectible Richard Ginori porcelain dishes, each about 24 cm in size, decorated with lively mythological and allegorical scenes and finished with an elegant wavy gold rim. They date to the period around the late 19th and early 20th centuries (circa 1896–1910). The central motif echoes the neoclassical style made famous by the paintings of Angelica Kauffmann.
On the back of these pieces there is a red circular hallmark stamp applied by the manufactory in the period between 1896 and 1910. It arose shortly after the merger (which occurred in 1896) between the historic Tuscan manufactory Manifattura di Doccia (Ginori) and the Milanese industrial group of Augusto Richard.
Good condition with minimal signs of wear and use.
