Dial and Hands
The dial is exceptionally clean and well-preserved, featuring a silver surface with a striking vertical brushed finish. Applied baton indices with black inserts provide excellent contrast and legibility, matched perfectly by the stick hands which carry identical black inserts. A date window is positioned at 3 o'clock. All printed text, including the Longines name, Flagship designation, and Swiss Made signature, remains crisp and fully intact. The surfaces are free from any visible spotting, staining, or damage, while the hands show clean surfaces with no visible oxidation or corrosion.

Case and Crystal
The stainless steel cushion-shaped case is well-preserved, retaining crisp original finishing transitions between the brushed top surfaces and polished flanks. There is no distinct bezel, as the flat acrylic crystal is set directly into the case. The crystal itself is clear with no significant scratches, crazing, or chips visible. The case exhibits only light superficial scratches consistent with careful wear over the decades. The watch is fitted with its signed crown, which features the Longines name and winged hourglass logo alongside well-defined knurling. On the reverse, the caseback exterior displays the case number 16838564, while the interior is correctly stamped with Longines branding and the reference 8473.

Movement
Inside the case beats the Longines Caliber 6651 automatic movement, a high-grade mechanism engraved with twenty-five jewels and adjusted to four positions and temperature. The movement is remarkably clean, showing no visible corrosion or significant wear. The rotor and bridges display bright finishing, and the screw heads appear unmarred. Recording a rate of +10+12s/day on the timegrapher, it is exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. The movement was serviced on 23 August 2026.

Strap
The watch is fitted with its original signed stainless steel mesh bracelet, which is highly complementary to the cushion case design. The mesh is in excellent condition, showing no visible kinks or deformation. The clasp features an applied Longines winged hourglass logo, and the endlinks are stamped with the code 4052. The bracelet accommodates a maximum wrist size of 19 cm.

Excellent vintage condition. The movement was serviced on 23 August 2026 and, supported by the recorded timegrapher result, is performing very strongly. The case is well-preserved with distinct finishes and only light superficial scratches from careful use. The dial and hands are exceptionally clean, showing no visible damage or aging. The flat acrylic crystal remains clear and free of notable flaws. The original signed mesh bracelet is structurally sound and presents beautifully.
