Mask - Japanese Noh mask, traditional Noh theater mask (No reserve price)

A traditional Japanese Noh mask of a female figure, hand-carved from a single block of wood. The face features authentic mineral pigment painting, with delicately rendered eyebrows, eyes, lips, and teeth, and gold-line detailing on the hair. It comes with its original woven cords attached to the sides and a black-lacquered back; cutouts for the eyes, nose, and mouth allow for wall-mounted display.
This is a vintage antique; the lacquered surface exhibits natural craquelure (fine crackling) and signs of age, such as discoloration and minor wear, though the wooden body remains structurally sound with no cracks or breaks. Measuring approximately 21 cm, it is an excellent piece for collections of Japanese antique art or as a decorative wall accent.
