The proposed work is a relief metal plate (embossing done by my hand), a numbered artist’s proof 1/1, 30x21 cm, painted in red and white - signed on the plate - with a frame 32x23x2 cm - a work that suits any interior decor.
The work will be carefully packaged and shipped within 3 days with authentication on a photo signed by the artist -- ready to hang or to be displayed --
traceable and insured shipment- (unfortunately the photo never does it justice)

…in the slow and steady unfolding of his research, Luigi Rossanigo followed a particular artistic formation, characterized by various experiments across different disciplines. From the early painting experiences where the subject was treated with direct reference to reality, the artist, in the first half of the 1970s, gradually approached a conceptual abstract view of form, summarized in rapid and frank gesturality. This informal parentheses found its natural evolution in a surrealism lived with a very personal introspective intention, among abnormal mystifications of reality, punctuated with the precision of an eighteenth-century traveler. While cultivating the delight for precious art, goldsmithing, and approaching the sculptural environment of Carrara, the versatile artist felt the need to challenge himself in defining the volumetric structure of the marble block, transferring to it the three-dimensional interpretation of the work already imagined for the aureate jewel. This path led Rossanigo to modify the painting’s structural layout, moving toward the creation of tensile structures and polymaterial compounds, a new dialectic in which the agreement between painting and sculpture became tangible.…
