Silver cabaret, made by George Hindmarsh of London. He was active from 1729 to 1743.

George Hindmarsh specialized in making large silverware; trays, cabarets, and coffee pots are known to be by him.

The cabaret (tray on legs) is beautifully decorated with scroll and floral motifs.

It bears the first-quality assay mark, the London city mark, the master mark GH, and the date letter n for 1748.

In the middle of the cabaret is engraved a family crest of a stork.

The cabaret is solidly made and in excellent condition.

Weight: 240 grams. Diameter: 16 cm.

Zilveren cabaret, gemaakt door George Hindmarsh uit Londen. Hij was werkzaam van 1729 tot 1743.

George Hindmarsh was gespecialiseerd in het maken van groot zilver, dienbladen, cabarets en koffiepotten zijn er van hem bekend.

Het cabaret (dienblad op pootjes) is fraai gedecoreerd met krul- en bloemmotieven.

Het is gekeurd met het 1e gehalte keur, stadskeur Londen, meesterteken GH en jaarletter n voor 1748.

Op het midden van het cabaret is een family crest gegraveerd van een ooievaar.

Het cabaret is zwaar uitgevoerd en in prima conditie.
