-endcut- PALLASITE Meteorite. SERICHO (Kenya, 2016) "Stony-iron meteorite". WITHOUT RESERVE PRICE! - 36.5 g

In this batch we auction a final cut of Sericho, a pallasite-type meteorite (iron-nickel-rich), found for the first time in Kenya in 2016. It is a meteorite of good size for a sample collection in which we can see olivine on the surface, as well as its interior through the polished zone, where we can view olivine in its spectacular iron-nickel metallic matrix.

"Pallasites" are very scarce meteorites in which olivine is embedded in a metallic matrix. They come from the mantle of large asteroids, and represent only about 2% of known meteorites.

We are members of the leading international associations related to meteorites, so we guarantee for life the authenticity of all our meteorites and jewelry made from this material. Buy with guarantees.
