Figure - Putto - Brass

Elegant and antique decorative element of sacred furnishings cast in golden bronze/brass, depicting a winged cherub (putto) holding a radiating cross with trilobed arms.
The object originally originated as a summit or applied frieze for a tabernacle, reliquary, or altar piece of the period. It presents an excellent patina of time and a workmanship rich in details in the drapery, in the face and in the wings.
