Beautiful old Saxon 4/4 violin from the last quarter of the 19th century. The violin was repaired in 1902 for a crack on the far left of the tailpiece. By whom is difficult to read (see photos).
The violin also has a beautifully figured one-piece back. The lacquer has also remained in particularly good condition. The violin has a predominantly warm tone.
