This major work gathers observations and judgments of Liège civil law, enriched with fundamental treatises on fiefs, matrimonial law (including the “Peace of Tongres”), wills and intestate succession.
Printed in Liège by Leonard Streel, sworn printer to His Serene Highness, the work is dedicated to Prince-Bishop Maximilian-Henry of Bavaria. The interior is characterized by its typographic richness, adorned with superb wood-engraved historiated initials, headbands, and tail-pieces.
